Event: Memorial Day Parade, Farmingdale, May 30, 2011
It was a hot day as we gathered to watch the parade honoring all those who gave their all in defense of our freedom and to thank those who are currently serving for the same purpose. The red, white and blue was proudly displayed as the bands, floats and cars passed by. But it was also a sobering reminder of where the freedom to enjoy this hobby comes from and at what cost. Thank you to all who have served and to those who are serving this country. You do us a great honor. Godspeed.
